What Buzzby does
Buzzby is a local services app. Customers post a request by typing, speaking or sending a photo. Local businesses that offer that service see the request and reply with an offer. The customer compares offers, confirms one, and can follow the job through to completion and leave a review.
Businesses use Buzzby to find new customers nearby, respond to requests, and manage their bookings.

How you opt in
You opt in to Buzzby text messages when you create an account or post a request in the Buzzby app and check the box agreeing to receive SMS updates at the mobile number you provide. Opting in is not required to use Buzzby, and consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Opt-in wording shown in the app: "I agree to receive text messages from Buzzby about my requests, bookings, orders and account. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Agreeing is not required to use Buzzby. See our Terms and Privacy Policy."
Sign up by text: You can also create a Buzzby account without the app by texting JOIN to (866) 303-4499. By texting JOIN, you agree to receive text messages from Buzzby about your requests, bookings, orders and account at that number. You will get one reply confirming your sign-up, with how to opt out and get help. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Agreeing is not required to use Buzzby, and you can use the app instead.
What we send
Messages relate only to your own account and requests: sign-in verification codes, updates when a business responds to your request, booking confirmations and changes, and job status updates. For businesses: alerts about new customer requests and booking updates. We do not send marketing messages through this program.
How often
Message frequency varies with your activity on Buzzby. Most people receive a few messages per request.

Stopping and help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one message confirming you have been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or contact us by email or phone below.
Messages are sent from (866) 303-4499. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy policy

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are not shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We collect the information you give us to provide the service: your name, contact details, mobile number, the requests you post, and the businesses you interact with. We use it to run your account, match your requests with local businesses, send the messages you have opted in to, and keep the service safe.
We share information only with the parties needed to complete your request (for example, the business you choose), with service providers that help us operate Buzzby (such as hosting and text-message delivery) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or delete your account, by contacting us at the email below.

By using Buzzby you agree to use it lawfully and to give accurate information. Buzzby helps customers and independent local businesses find each other; the businesses are responsible for the services they provide. You may stop using Buzzby and delete your account at any time. Text messaging is governed by the SMS program terms above. We may update these terms and will post changes on this page.
